ABATE (American Bikers Aiming Toward Education) of North Dakota is a not-for-profit, safety, educational, charitable and advocacy motorcyclist organization. Our aims are to promote motorcycle safety, protect the rights and freedom of fellow riders and help others.

ABATE works to protect the rights of all motorcyclist through direct involvement in the political process. You, as an individual, can help in the ongoing struggle against anti-motorcycle legislation both here in North Dakota, and across the United States, by becoming an ABATE member.

ABATE is non-partisan and welcomes all riders. We give those with a strong interest in motorcycling an opportunity to unite and become part of one of North Dakota's strongest motorcycle organizations. ABATE feels that all of us, from lifestyle rider to off-road-fan, are brothers and sisters with a common interest ... riding free!

Accomplishments

ABATE of North Dakota has been the driving force in making May "Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Month" and is responsible for promoting motorcycle education and awareness.

ABATE continues to defend the equal rights of motorcyclists - preserving their freedom of choice. ABATE of North Dakota believes education, not legislation, is the key to creating a safer environment for motorcycling.

In addition to promoting motorcycle safety and education, ABATE has also been involved with collecting money for charities and those in need. Tons of food and truck loads of toys are donated each year to local charities.
